Very nice indeed. Attentive staff. The place is clean and well looked after. The food is good - a lot of it and it is very good value for money. They can certainly show The Smugglers Rest just down the road from them "How it SHOULD be done"!! Well done all - a very nice visit :-)

They've certainly added to their menus to accommodate vegans, however there were only 2 vegan options! And a total of 6 vegetarian options. I always find this place above noise level, so you can't have a quiet dinner without hearing someone screeching nearby. However the staff are friendly and helpful with dietary requirements, and the main food was all delicious.

A few interesting and reasonably priced beers. Comfortable with plenty of seating and good value food. There's a odd buzzer system in place for when your food's ready, which wasn't really explained to us.

Popped in for a quick lunch where we did not have to wait to be served. So the carvery was very good option. Good quality food and great prices. Very welcoming place.

Thursday afternoon. Not busy. Me and a friend arrived we’re not acknowledge by the bar staff. When we did get the attention of the staff we asked about how the carvery system works since we haven’t been here before. The waitress was quite rude and sarcastic at answering our question and seemed to have a bad attitude. When we went up to the carvery none of the sauces were labelled so half of my dinner was inedible since I’d managed to coat it in a sauce that I thought was something else. Over all, low standard and very impersonal experience. Next time I’ll go to a Toby!
