What a lovely place! The pub is incredibly beautiful and welcoming, and so is the staff. The food was great, good portions and good prices - not easy to find a tasty turkey roast past Christmas. Steve looked after us with a smile on their face. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you all :

3/5 is always my start point and then varies according to experience.nThe staff were friendly and attentive.  Sat next to open fire, fire beautiful just a little too warm.  Our food was very good, only complaint for me was i ordered medium ribeye and it was rare, but other than that we all enjoyed our meals.  Ive seen some complain about the price but if you want your meals cooked by proper chef with decent cuts of meat and fresg veg, you will pay a little more.nFood 4/5.  Staff 5/5.  Environment 4/5.  Cleanliness 4/5.

We often meet our friends for lunch at the Smugglers.  A lovely pub which is part of the Vintage Inns group.  The food is generally always of a good standard but on this occasion was a little dried up.  However the service in the form of Cloe was excellent and very attentive to our needs.  For anyone who hasn't visited the pub the views are spectacular overlooking the sea.

Location is great! Hence why we came.nFood has been always a bit disappointing…nIt can get very busy on a sunny day, but if not busy - sitting  outside is just amazing … I’m in two minds if to come back to this place or not ; I do sincerely hope they improve their food quality … service is not too bad, not great neither ; they take ages to bring anything , ie like ketchup etc … polite of course but not the best. My main issue though is the food quality , I don’t even want to go into the details ; attaching the picture maybe you can see for yourself , those broccoli the worst I’ve ever eaten in my life and fish is not impressive neither and a very weird sauce …… chips are average too , sorry guys but it’s my honest feedback and I hope you improve

I recently dined at The Smugglers Rest in Telacombe Cliffs, and it was fantastic! I had the calamari and fish cakes, and both were absolutely delicious. The calamari was perfectly crispy, and the fish cakes were packed with flavor. Great atmosphere and friendly staff too. Highly recommend!
