Really friendly owners, great food, all vegan and has vegetarian options in case eggs and milk are needed. I enjoyed a double cheese burger and chips, with some cake and chocolate to eat later on too. Added bonus, they have a storage area for bicycles right by the front door!
Had a great Mother's Day snack, all vegan and all good. Now those cup cakes, niiice! Although the place is small, the welcome is big. Have been before, and will definitely be going again!
The most average vegan food I've had- lacked taste, greasy and small portions.The atmosphere was very cold, very locally. Locals definitely recieving preferential treatment! Very disappointing after reading such good reviews - have felt very sick since and would not return! Hoped the cakes would make up for the mains, but the brownies tasted uncooked and very heavy. Such a shame - also the friendly dog mentioned- not so friendly! Barking and going for anyone who walked past the table to use the toilet! Would not recommend!
My wife and I are not vegans but LOVED the food here. If you enjoy delicious food and drink then you must stop by. Friendly atmosphere, and lovely, chatty owners. We really enjoyed the chocolate brownies with chocolate sauce, the cha latte was amazing. So good, we are returning tomorrow!!!
I love this place, I'm currently vegetarian but if I could cook as well as these lovely ladies then I would become vegan in a heartbeat giving up cheese is hard! Always feel welcome and look forward to my breakfast pancakes and seeing lovely little pebbles. Whether you're vegan or not it's a great place to dine and try something different and new!
Visited today. It says vegetarian in the window which nearly put me off but in reality it is vegan and therefore wonderful. The food was quick and tasty. The service friendly and accommodating. Great to see a vegan place outside central Brighton. If you aren't from Peacehaven you will be pleased to know there is a nice cliff walk and free parking and now a place to eat too.
Basically a vegan cafe that can accommodate vegetarians if they want eggs or cows milk. Perfect for us because our family is a mixture of vegans and vegetarians. The food was great and the owners were immensely friendly as were the other customers. Highly recommended, especially after a walk along the cliffs. PS. Also dog friendly.
Whoever the new girl is doing the breakfast needs to be retrained. She cant do soft eggs, mushrooms are full of grease, she put the toast in the box, never gives the coffee, managed to make the entire bacon feel like fat. Place has gone down hill recently. Used to get 2 breakfasts here a week AT LEAST, I've started going to the pantry again, and I'll keep going here until they change or retrain the new girl. I need to dip my eggs!
Huge choice of tasty vegan options including jack fruit burgers and vegan tuna mayo jackets. Different mylk choices friendly owners I will definitely be back. I've been spoilt for choice! Lovely lunch thanks.
The most delicious vegan pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and scrambled tofu, accompanied by the best cappuccino with oat milk and lemon drizzle cake this side of town. All served by two wonderful women. Get there soon, it's going to get very busy!
