Asked which is the hottest curry and was told they will make it extra hot. It tastes like putting your tongue in a packet of chilly powder. Not only hot but also having this musty floury taste of too much of the powder. The dish was supposed to be 9.50£ but paid 10.55£ for what? I don't know. Maybe the half pack of cayenne. Ended up having an extra 3.90£ on the bill not knowing what it was for. EVERYTHING costs extra. No dish comes with the rice or chips as in other Indians. Also no complimentary chutneys and pompadoms like in others. As I said, everything cost extra. Didn't worth the money.

This place has gone down since Jay left. The staff are lovely, but the food is tasteless and just doesnt seem authentic anymore. Its a shame this was our favourite Indian in town but not anymore!

Pleasant staff and a clean and well presented restaurant but service was very slow and lacking. The food was not good at all, incredibly oily and bland with no freshness or depth of flavour. The menu also had a deal on saying that if two people eat and buy a round of drinks, they get the second round free. We bought our second round of drinks only to be told when paying the bill that this deal is no longer valid. I hate to leave a bad review but we really weren't impressed.
