Story

The Joshua Tree is a small family run delightful fully licensed Cafe & Bistro. Located in the Cumbrian market town of Kendal, known as the gateway to the Lake District. We are nestled in one of Kendal’s oldest yards within a traditional 17th century building with rustic exposed beams & a cosy open log fire. You can expect a warm and friendly welcome from Shelley & Nick and their team with an informal, relaxed atmosphere you'll struggle to drag yourself away. When the sun shines we have a lovely sunny courtyard to catch those summer rays but if the rain pours our open log fire inside is perfect to cosy up to.

All our food is freshly prepared, handmade by us and locally sourced. We are passionate about producing good wholesome Food cooked just the way you like it.

Café bistro by day, serving hearty breakfasts, hot and cold lunches with delicious daily specials making the most of local seasonal produce.
