We were the first in the door for breakfast and were met with smells of freshly baked cakes and pastries, which is always a good sign 😀. Having looked at the extensive and varied vegan / vegetarian menu opted for a banana smoothie and the home made granola with soy yogurt. Both were fantastic. The granola especially as was not hard and under cooked, which is often the case. It was light and fluffy and tasted fresh. The music was nice and jazzy and the view of the river through Kendal on a sunny morning made it even better. Having spent the weekend in Kendal I would say this IS the best place to eat if you fancy healthy, reasonably priced food in a welcoming environment. The coffee us also probably one of if not the best in Kendal. Clean cafe, friendly staff and great food. A big thumbs up from me.

Nice food, vegan options but children's play area and kids running around aren't conducive to a pleasant eating experience for me (not to say that's the case for everyone)

Took pot luck finding somewhere to eat lunch in Kendall, great food, finished off with a fabulous fruit crumble. Just very good.

A delicious meal in peaceful surroundings with the river outside. All prepared on site and well presented by gentle staff. Thanks
