14 of us had a well cooked & beautifully presented meal last night. Everyone had something different to eat from a menu that caters for all tastes. We were all served together & the food arrived nice & hot. Well done to the new head chef, we'll be back again soon & we've  already chosen what we would like to sample next time. 
Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening with excellent service

Simply Amazing food, service & setting. Its obvious to see that a lot of work has been put into this restaurant and it shows. The items of food on the menu were really original and came out hot, perfect sized portions and staff keen to please us. Really great place to go on a date. 

*Christmas 2017 only - visited a delightful hand-crafted Santa's Grotto in the back yard, which was an amazing use of the space. Can't wait to come again*

Delicious food. Prices reflect quality. Toilets are outside which is a bit odd but it is an historic building which has its development limitations.  Toilets are clean and modern when you get there. Service at end of meal was a bit lacking - no-one bothered to ask if we wanted coffee so we had to go to bar to ask (would have been 5 star review otherwise). But that aside I'd definitely use again. Recommended

Nice pub, good atmosphere. Food is trying to be too much, keep it simple. Excellent selection of beers and gin.

Five of us went for lunch - all agreed both starters and mains were excellently presented and cooked to perfection. Quality food in a quality venue.
Toilets are outside but clean and warm once you get there
