They sell lots of great stuff, but seriously I'm only there to find out what the animals are up to!nSomeone really loves there job, keep up the good work!nSo car park is big, food is good, food queue is too big at weekends, good range of products, plenty of trolleys.

A lovely store and the price for this lunch was unbelievable, £3 for salmon, veg, and couscous with free tea for members. Staff could be more helpful and make themselves available.

Such a huge ikea, the free parking was the size of a shopping center. Everything that you expected from an ikea you find there. There’s the iconic cheap restaurant 20 minutes queue though on Saturday and free playground for the children.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the service I received at IKEA Lakeside on 9th Oct 2024, particularly in the bedroom and wardrobe section.nnI arrived at approximately 1:10 PM, knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase. When I approached a staff member for assistance, I was informed that she was waiting for a scheduled appointment. This made sense, and I asked if I could wait in case there were no customers with appointments, to which she responded that I should return at 2:45 PM.nnDuring this waiting period, no other customers arrived for appointments, and I noticed the staff member talking to her colleagues and not engaging with any customers. Despite my patience, when I returned at 2:45 PM, she was not present. A colleague had to search for her, and she finally returned at 2:55 PM without offering any apology for the delay.nnFrom the moment she started assisting me, her attitude was dismissive and rude. She pulled the chair far away, gave curt one-word answers, and made me feel rushed, even though the system allowed for a time slot from 2:45 to 3:30 PM. When I asked for measurements and details, she responded rudely, as if it were a burden to assist me.nnWhen I mentioned the wardrobe color, she demanded I provide the code instead of making an effort to help with the selection process. She refused to get up from her seat to assist me and completed the appointment in less than 5 minutes. When I asked what was wrong, she simply said she didn’t want to talk to me anymore.nnI spent 2 hours and 45 minutes waiting for assistance, only to be treated rudely and unprofessionally. When I asked for her name, she mumbled it softly and began walking away. When I politely asked again because I couldn’t hear her, she told me not to follow her. This behavior is shocking, and I cannot believe IKEA employs staff with such disregard for customer service.nnI hope that this matter is taken seriously, and I would appreciate an appropriate response and action regarding this situation.

They were out of chips and mashed potatoes, they substituted those for hash browns. Bit of a let down, don't come here often and when I do, I like to tuck into their Swedish meatballs.nnPerhaps next visit will be better?
