This is a stunning rooftop garden located atop 120 Fenchurch Street in London. Offering panoramic views of the city’s skyline, including landmarks like The Shard and Tower Bridge, it's a peaceful oasis in the heart of the financial district.nnThe garden is beautifully landscaped with lush greenery, flowering plants, and water features, creating a serene escape from the city below. Best of all, it’s free to visit and doesn’t require booking, making it a hidden gem for both locals and tourists.nnWhether you’re looking to relax or capture great city views, The Garden at 120 is a must-see spot in London.
Some great views across London. We also liked that you didn’t have to book unlike many free attractions in London. The gardens are lovely and there are even apples and other fruits growing up there. Doesn’t take long to look around - I would probably give yourself 30 mins to 1hr depending.
The Garden at 120 is a hidden gem offering one of the best free rooftop views in London. Located at 120 Fenchurch Street, this peaceful oasis provides stunning 360-degree views of the city’s skyline, including landmarks like the Walkie-Talkie building and the Tower of London. The beautifully landscaped garden, with its vibrant flowers and greenery, creates a calm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to relax or the perfect spot for a panoramic photo of the city, The Garden at 120 is a must-visit. It’s a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of London, right in the heart of the city.
There was a bit of a queue when we arrived but we kept moving and were in the lift going up sooner than we had expected.nnWe enjoyed the views and were glad we got there as the sun was setting as it made the London skyline even nicer.nnIt is a park on a roof, there was plenty of greenery and places to sit and soak up what you could see.nnWe walked around the roof completely and sat for a while as the darkness levels increased and the lights got brighter.nnIt was well worth the wait and as it is free we would definitely recommend going up to look across London. Yes there are taller buildings, some you have to pay for, some you have to book way in advance but here you can simply turn up.nnWe will be going again and maybe taking a picnic in our bags.
