BEST Steak!! My husband and I went there for our Anniversary dinner and loved the porterhouse steak we got. Didn't love the goat cheese appetizer but that's because we found the cheese too strong. The waitress was very nice, and we both got a selection of ice cream for dessert that was great! Would go back again for sure.

I booked this restaurant due to some very good reviews I read online, for myself and my partner as we wanted a romantic evening to celebrate a belated valentines. On entering the restaurant we said we had booked a table for 2 at 5:30pm at which the waiter huffed and said its over there gesturing towards a table around the corner. My partner and I sat at the table and as no one had brought menus over yet I started to sort out putting my phone away in my bag as i had used it to navigate our way to the restaurant as I don't know bath very well. As I was doing so another waiter brought over the menus and just stood staring at me as I struggled with my bag as if to suggest I was taking up too much of his time. Once we got the menus and saw the prices we felt very frustrated . We have no problem paying high prices but we expect high service to come with it and as at this time we were 1 of three couples in the restaurant there was no reason not to have high attention paid to us. Due to this awful service I cannot tell you about the food as we decided we weren't going to be treated this way and left the restaurant in search for something that welcomed our custom. Safe to say we will not return on our next visit to Bath.

Best steakhouse in Bath. Really nice service with a great decor. The food is exquisite, steak is cooked to perfection, peppercorn sauce is really nice. I like the sauces as well. The price is higher than normal but is worth the price. The location is good and just of the city centre.

Fantastic steak! Food was good and had a flair too it, though not pretentious. The waffles for dessert were the best I've ever had. The sides let the food down a little. The chips are far too salty, and it seemed like they forgot the garlic on the garlic mushrooms. The service was good. Food was priced just right for the quality.

The Hudson early on a Saturday evening. Still one of the best Steak choices in Bath. Supported with great choice of wines and beers. Attentive staff and a particularly smooth tasting prosseco.
