Good food at a reasonable price. Burger was delicious and cooked well, not dry and medium rare as requested. Portion sizes generous.

Part of the Mitchells & Butlers chain (guilty of giving us Harvester, Toby Carvery and O'Neill's), Miller & Carter offers Wetherspoons steak at Hawksmoor prices. In a city that boasts Hudson and Herd, both fine steakhouses, you would be doing yourself a serious injustice by choosing this chain over either. Their website boldly claims that they "know a thing or two about steak. In fact, we could say that we're one of the best steakhouses in Bath." Well, you 'could' say that, but you would be be wrong. A quick look on Google reveals they are the lowest ranked steakhouse in Bath and the quality of food, cooking and service on display here makes that a more than fair ranking.

Terrible service received, food was cold, waitress was uninterested. An ultimately frustrating experience, especially as my Mum had brought me out to treat me after my first term at University - lovely aesthetics, but the food and service did not match up at all. Disappointing.
