Dear HSBC Wolverhampton Can you explain the why you thought it necessary not to have a counter service on Saturdays? Considering most of your customers work during the week and therefore may need to pop in on the weekend to sort their finances. Very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and service with a smile. Thank You. Update on HSBC Wolverhampton, went in this morning 1/9/22 tried to draw some money out and I couldn't, it told me to telephone a number as its a possible fraud, I bank online and noticed a few issues so I went to one of the staff there she rang the number I was in the bank ages but well worth it. It turned out that there had been a problem they sorted it out. But I must praise the young lady who dealt with my problem and with her empathy and tenacity she Will go far in the HSBC bank thank you.
I've joined HSBC Midlands Bank when started university in 1998, they used to have a fantastic service. DISGRACEFUL service to RETAIL clients, unfriendly counter opening hours, close down down branches NO COMMUNICATION to customers and staff are not rude but NOT FRIENDLY either. Open on Saturdays but NO CO7NTERS service, unlike other high street banks. Poor, poor poor service it's a shame
This page needs updating. Your "Opening times" and "usually a little busy" are misleading. I have walked up to town three times recently, to avoid public transport only to find the Queen Square branch closed. Redirecting to Wednesbury is NOT helpful when you are on foot. There are times when online banking is not enough. This morning a workman pointed out a notice saying closed until January, not easily visible with steamed up glasses. One star only to enable post.
As a very satisfied customer of this bank for more than 30 years I was disappointed with recent changes. I totally understand that hours and staff have to adapt to the current dreadful situation, but surely they could open on a Saturday just once a month as my working hours make it impossible to get there before 2pm. Then my local Wolverhampton branch closed for refurbishment for nearly 4 months! My nearest branch is Wednesbury which is only open until 2pm. As I work until 4 and they're not opening at all on Saturday and I'm on foot this is impossible and impractical. I've written to HO and received a very unhelpful reply. Very disappointing .
Went up to get money out for some work being done on my house and was refused said I needed to bring pappar work up to prove I was having the work done My money so go next door to Lloyds let me have it no problem there and then will be shutting my account down and taking MY MONEY some place else
Thus was my worst banking experience ever. I wanted to open a bank account, and they gave me an appointment 7 days later. When I went to the appointment, the clerk said I did not need an appointment in the first place, and that she could not accept my proof of address. I had explained my situation when I first went there and told them what documents I had. Very negative experience indeed.
Total frustration,trying to pay money into our account and they won't let me! Changing banks today.
Booked an appointment to open a business account and got a call just as I was arriving on the car park in the city to say the guy had a family emergency and can’t do the appointment. . Absolutely unbelivable.
this bank are not based in the UK and are unable to help with simple problems. If you are looking for a local bank who you can speak to direct, go else where!!!! 1 star is the minimum you can give. My score is 0
