I have seen three people in the total over the past few months. A nurse and two therapists, which both therapists to me have gone above and beyond to help me. I can not fault the clinic. But can I add a gentle reminder  that these people are not miracle workers, it takes them and yourself to get where you need to be. Considering Burton is a very small place, I think we are lucky to have some kind of support.

Disgusting service. After a 30 minute assessment  and waiting 8 months for apointment, got a call saying theres nothing they can help with. Apparently  theres no psychiatrist. They also dont diagnose people at the clinic. Whats the clinic for. They didnt even bother to have me speak to someone like a nurse. If you have more than slight depression  then these people are  not for you. There unqualified and uncaring. Absolute  disgrace.

Ex-partner with schizophrenia decided to stop attending the clinic for his monthly anti-psychotic depot. Staff did absolutely nothing, didn’t chase him for his treatment or anything. Inevitability he got extremely unwell. I wrote a letter to the staff at Horninglow clinic expressing my concerns regarding his mental health and attached evidence of his self-neglect, but heard nothing back. Seems like they just don’t care. He’s now not getting the help he desperately needs. This has cost us his health and our relationship. Do not send your loved ones here!

Not a good experience here overall and I have elected to stop going to this clinic in person.  I went to collect my prescription once and on the way out members of staff were shouting slanderous obsenities at/about me as I left.  Later I had to sit through them taking my bloods!  During my visits there both doctors and staff have scowled at me, displayed negative body language of disapproval and I have been called  names within ear shot.  This is not conducive to recovery from bi polar for a patient with an existing potentially life threatening condition.

My experience here as my first appointment was really good as my psychologist Joe has been helping me with my severe anxiety and helping me to get better she has been ever so good with me as a young adult but most of all helped me with my disability that I have and sorting everything out for me for new tests to have and I’m grateful to have the help here that I have been given and gifted in person because if I didn’t have the help I wouldn’t be here today from all the services I have had help from these past few years of having mental health problems with my life and background that I have and learned to live with now

I wouldn't even give this one star but I have to! The treatment this service provides is atrocious, I have just informed my cpn that since my last appointment I have been feeling suicidal, depressed and incredibly anxious. She responds by saying that I'm being discharged from the service. I suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety and the Horninglow Clinic has made my symptoms worse since I've been under there "care" if you can call it that. I live in supported accommodation and my housing officer is better at dealing with mental health than the people who have qualifications in it!

Perfect experience, had ecg and bloods, everything was explained clearly. Everything was done in good time, infinitely better experience, than Derbyshire when it comes to mental health!

Useless. Say they are mental health support yet have no idea what mental health problems are or how to treat them. Seems to be run by people who don't know what they're doing.

Awful place, their is no understanding of m mental  health, just staff fooling around

My wife has been going there for 3 weeks and seen the same lady who stated she had seen her for 6 weeks and every time askes the same question can you read and wright.  My wife has a BSC digrea. I question how much do they know there patients.
