nExcellent facilities – just not the right location for mennI recently visited Bannatyne Health Club & Spa in Burton on Trent and was genuinely impressed. The building is modern, spacious, and very well maintained. From the moment you walk in, it has that premium feel — clean, professional, and welcoming.nnThe gym itself is well-equipped, and the spa and pool areas looked fantastic — ideal for both serious training and relaxation. Staff were friendly and informative, and the overall environment was calm, focused, and clearly well-managed.nnMy only reason for giving four stars — and not joining — is purely down to location. It’s just a bit too far from where I’m now based.nnThat said, if you’re local, I’d highly recommend checking it out. Easily one of the best gym and spa setups in the Burton area.

Great location, fantastic staff, spotless facilities and loads of quality equipment.nnBut the real highlight? If your fitness goals revolve around perfecting the art of sitting on resistance machines while composing texts, scrolling endlessly through social media, or fine-tuning your betting slips, then this gym is absolutely unbeatable.

So me and my daughter came today and after reading the reviews was a little skeptical however I'm not sure what half of the reviews was in about. We had a fabulous relaxing day, the food we had for lunch was great, everywhere was spotless and clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We did mix up our times for one of our treatments however they soon rearranged it and nothing was too  much trouble. Lily from the spa was fantastic and brilliant at her job so I felt amazing after. Loved the relaxation room and the pool , jacuzzi and steam room area was very clean and the jacuzzis was checked regularly. So take alot of no notice of the bad reviews, don't let them put you off and make up your own mind. We will definitely be backs thank you

A health club that exceeds expectation. Professional, inviting and friendly reception staff. Superb house keeping team, who keep all areas spotlessly clean. Brilliant and varied class timetable, led by high quality and encouraging instructors, and well maintained gym equipment for all types of training for fitness. I'd highly recommend Bannatyne's as someone who's been a happy member there for 4 years.
