Very Nice train station in a nice part of Southeast London. Clean and tidy with good train services to London Bridge and Highbury and Islington stations.
Nice little station with lifts for prams, wheel chair users or for those who can't manage the stairs. - It does take a while to arrive though.nnI like that they have some flowers on the shelf as passengers exit the station.nnQuiet station and it's only about a 9 minute walk to new Camberwell cemetery if that's your destination to visit your dearly departed.
Nice well run little station.nnTo those who have an issue with the name spelling: learn some history! This area was named after an oak reputedly planted by Elizabeth I that gave its name to One Tree Hill. Honor was the original spelling of the word in the 1600s before it was decided to adopt a more French style spelling over a century later. The Americans kept the original spellings because they had declared independence before the spellings here changed. The idiots calling this station American spelling are just showing how ignorant they are!
Only part of the platforms are covered. No Toilets. One small shop that isn't open very often. They've recently installed elevators though, which is a plus. Bus stop right outside the station for the P4 and P12 buses, which is very handy.
Very quiet peaceful place. Easy to commute to and from central london. Very busy during morninh and eveninh time. Local shops and nice cafe down the road.
