A historic Country Manor House Hotel, based in the picturesque village of Bollington overlooking the Beautiful Peak District.

Story

Our fantastic Victorian building is set in it's own grounds overlooking the beautiful Bollington, Happy Valley. We offer a wonderful menu, personal service and a friendly welcome. Open fires, Stunning Views and a stately home feel we are confident you will enjoy your stay at Hollin Hall Hotel.

We also offer meeting rooms that can cater for you business needs, with 65mb broadband and presentation facilities.

We are dog friendly, with 6 rooms available for dogs.

The stunning Peak District National Park is within easy reach, along with an inspiring choice of visitor attractions. Activities available locally include walking routes, a number of golf courses in the surrounding area, clay pigeon shooting, riding, archery and fishing.
The local villages of Kerridge and Bollington have a fantastic Mill Town history with public houses, cafes, delicatessens and local monthly artisan markets as well as beer and walking festivals.

This place is like Jekyll and Hyde: it has heavenly and wonderful sides and ones of darkness. First the warning: you may not want to stay here lodging *unless* you have a room in the main house. Rooms not in the main house are in two cheap "extension" wings that should not exist. Period. Cardboard walls, dated interiors. Just don't... The good bits: the main house (and, yes, it is rightly called a hall) is gorgeous. The views out the front are outstanding, you will have sheep and lambs grazing and look out over the Cheshire plains. Food in the restaurant is fine, too, and staff is generally lovely. So: just. avoid. those. back. rooms...

Stayed here for the night with evening meal and cream tea as a package deal. Reception was literally a women sitting at a table in the foyer who wouldn't let us check in until it was 3:00, this is totally fine however, when it got to 3:00 we joined the massive queue to get checked in! (They perhaps need to think about this one!) Sometime later we got to our room which was very disappointing. It was very dusty, the bathroom was grubby and the floor vinyl was peeling in large areas, definitely in need of some TLC and a proper clean. The bar area was cosy and the food was very nice.

I visited UK on work and stayed here for a week. A calm and serene hotel on the outskirts of Macclesfield, at Bollington. Serves nice English breakfast and Dinner. Not sure if they also serve Lunch. Also has a nice bar and a small Banquet hall. I noticed that the Friday and Saturday evenings were crowded, mostly at the bar. The rooms were clean and the staffs were very polite and helpful.

We booked a wowcher deal and got a cream tea (fresh out the oven scones!!) 3 course dinner and buffet breakfast both mornings. Lovely couple of nights away. Really clean room. Great shower. Great food and general cosy environment.

Booked a Woucher deal for 3 days, 2 nights. Hotel and room spotlessly clean but other issues. Only stayed one night. Replied to hotel questionnaire but the offer of the manager to contact us never happened.
