Premier Inn Macclesfield North

Great staff clean and tidy. One receptionist who is a complete misery. Never met anyone with so much of an attitude and you can tell doesn't want to be there.

We stayed in a family room, a double bed, a single and a travel cot. The beds were very comfortable, extra pillows were available. The room had a large TV, and there was also free WiFi (if you completed a small questionnaire). The bathroom facilities were good, nice and clean, and the power shower had no shortage of hot water. The only downside was the lack of any 'real' toilet roll, instead you get a single sheet dispenser, which I wasn't a fan of. The hotel is fairly conveniently located (we were visiting relatives, so didn't spend too much time exploring), and has a pub attached, so you don't have to go far for drinks or food. Friendly staff on the desk, and plenty of parking spaces - all good!

The room was standard premier inn style. Large TV as is more common with newer premier inns but also very cold. Quiet night with very little noise so a good night sleep. Breakfast served in the Beefeater took ages despite the only being 4 of us there at that time. Most Premier inns have everything set up for 7am but this one only started setting up when we arrived at 7am. This was a work visit so we had limited time for breakfast therefor could wait for them to finish setting up.

Stayed for one night which is enough, rooms are big with comfortable beds and good shower, however no control of room temperature. Breakfast very busy with Staff working very hard.

Only stayed one night. Great welcome from the night staff. She was still happy and smiling in the morning. Had breakfast at the Beefeater restaurant. It was OK except for the sausages
