Café Waterside Ltd

Working nearby one day a week I'm a regular at Cafe Waterside and always enjoy going. It's my weekly 'oasis'! I'm not particularly adventurous when it comes to menus, but what I am served is always of good quality and I always receive a warm welcome plus enjoy reading a paper from the good supply of dailies that are always to hand. Cafe is also dog friendly, which is a real bonus if you've been walking the canal towpath, but everything is always spotlessly clean. WiFi connectivity is also on hand for all customers, and is a proper free service - none of the signing up nonsense that you can get elsewhere. Would recommend to all. Thanks to Anne, Dora and all the crew and especially the hardworking chef! :)

Great little cafe and such friendly service. All I wanted was a cuppa and my pot was a generous serving for £2.00. A really pleasant moment in the day as I read the paper as the mellow late afternoon sun came in.

Excellent service, excellent food, very reasonable pricing, lovely ambience. Dog freindly and gorgeous setting. And don't forget the original pictures for sale. 9 out of 10

Good food and wonderful location on canal. Cosy in the winter and a lovely outdoor area to sit in the summer. Lovely artworks on display to buy and next door to the very interesting Discovery Centre.

A lovely long scenic walk along the canal, then at the end of it a freshly made scone, jam and clotted cream tea and cappuccino at the waterside cafe, served by friendly staff made our day.
