One of the best pub meals we have had in a long time nArrived without appointment for three people and were immediately seated.nWe ordered from the 2 for £15.50 menu.nLeek and potato soup and calamari for starters, gammon, steak ciabata and lamb shepherds pie for mains.nThe meals were a nice portion, piping hot, very tasty and flavoursome.nEvidence can be seen by the cleared plates. Proof of the pudding is in the eatingnNice atmosphere, several different seating areas, well timed service by two great staff members.nWould highly recommend.
Beautiful country pub with great attentive staff Tyler and Miguel and wonderful food, beautifully presented.
As a biker I cannot give it five stars as I remember the place as it was - however the place, staff and buffet was excellent- and could not do enough. This was a private booking and was great.nnGood luck as a Gin Distillery and shop.
The pub is very friendly, welcoming pub with a nice atmosphere when you enter. Inside, there is a good bar with plenty of space for dining or sitting near the bar for drinks. With leather seats to flop in next to the log fire it makes for a very comfortable place to chat over a few drinks.nThe menu is very good, plenty of choice and the food is cooked and presented perfectly. Front of house, the team are very efficient, they know their trade and service is first class. Last night Miguel and the team were spot on.nHighly recommend a visit to this pub, don't forget to get the Vintage app on your phone for plenty deals to be had.
Absolutely loved it in there! Staff were so kind and attentive and food was so good! Will definitely be coming back.
