Great B.B good breakfasts clean rooms fridge and microwave, kettle. Good base for trips out like Buxton, canal trips 10 minutes away and shopping in Macclesfield, 2 miles away. Very close to Buxton ,and leek . good touring base.

Quite simply perfect! Brenda is a lovely, very kind considerate house keeper. The decor is original old style country. Its a farm where you would not expect a farm to be. A tiny off shoot from the land of Macclesfield... just 9 mins away from the center! Priced perfectly inexpensive, Everything well kept and clean. There is no need for shoes off at the door as there is an occasional collie who may craftily sneak in if you leave the outside door open! Only to say hello in the hallway... (Its a farm! Don't stay if you hate animals! Do stay if you want to be amazed how clean an animal friendly home can be!) There are pleasently, respectful standards portrayed here...no smoking in the house...it smells fresh and clean) room doors are kept closed and are as clean as any 3-4 star hotel only...They have rare, wonderful character and charm... Warm and welcoming. Just like their creative and positively active house keeper. Brenda Helped me out at very short notice and late in the evening: gave up her living room floor to allow me to carry out a small repair of some urgently required electronic big screen projector equipment for a 6am start. Great atmosphere, lovely people, left me alone to do my own thing, there when needed and offering coffee at just the right time.... Great coffee too! I will be back here sometime in the future (maybe later today! and I highly recommend! This lovely, charming little b n b should never be the number 1 search result on Google....it would spoil it being too busy....but if you have read this... You already know you have found a little gem. The perfect place to stay :0)

I used Red Oaks loads when I was working and traveling to bollington, now I live here my parents always stay here when they visit. Friendly atmosphere and a 1st class breakfast, best B&B in Cheshire.
