Great food, great atmosphere and a fantastic range of their own and guest beers and ciders. Wine also very good. Beer garden overlooking Bollington Rec, Cricket ground and fantastic views of the village. OK for kids though no play area, but there is one just over the road. Dogs and muddy walkers welcome. The Brewery (just across the road) tours are excellent value - interesting, entertaining with plenty of beer to taste, followed by a meal back at the pub. Wonderful gift for friends or yourself!

Nice beers from the brewery literally a few doors down. Minimal beer mileage! Quaint cosy place, quite small. Food was quick as we'd pre ordered. Decent prices. Some people complained about cold chips, but my food was fine. The sheer amount of kids in there (though well behaved) wasn't my cup of tea but it is half term. Would go back if I'm in the area, mostly for the beers!
