I stayed here last October courtesy of Channel 4 whilst visiting for filming of Countdown. I have to say, the whole experience was just fantastic. I checked in and went for a drink straight away. The bar staff were lovely, and as the place wasn't busy, I stood and chatted to some of them for a while. When I woke up, the breakfast served was absolutely amazing. I was late for checking out as I overslept. The staff could not have been more accomodating. Particularly Emilia. Even as I waited for a lift from the hotel, they allowed me to sit in the lobby with a newspaper and served me iced water with lemon, which I desperately needed for my hangover. A little touch, but just an example of the many ways staff here go the extra mile for guests. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-kept. A great experience.

Fantastic hotel, staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. We will definitely be booking again next time we're in Manchester.

Overnight stay only. Efficient front desk. Clean rooms. Comfortable. Didn't eat there but friends said food was fine.

Overall perfect place for stay. Waterfront view, good bar to hang out...Good staff. Would really suit families as well if they put microoven in room.
