Hotel is clean, smart looking, rooms are on 2 floors with lift to 2nd floor.Staff are very helpful and friendly, room we had was clean, bright and quiet and well thought out, giving space to move and with a two seater settee, bathroom was clean and spacious and well lit. Highly recommend this hotel. Would stay here again. Thank you for a lovely break.

The lady at the desk when we arrived was very helpful and kind. The rooms were cold when we arrived but there is powerful heating and air con in the room, which isn't loud either. Standard sized rooms but with an iron and hairdryer, lovely pillows and even nice body and shower gels made it very pleasant. Free parking too, overall very pleased!

The hotel has no facilities or amenities , it should be called a lodge. Not very accommodating for international visitors. Reception staff were not friendly. No porter service or security on premises. Bar and restaurant had only 2 staff who were multi tasking. Many items on menu were not available including burgers. Basic items like shower caps, lotion, etc not available in room. Rooms has no fridge or complimentary bottled water. Items are very expensive. Hotel staff should be dressed in uniforms and not t -shirts. Compared to other holiday inns, it was very disappointing.

The biggest positive is location it's not too far from the city center. The bed was very comfortable and rooms were well kept. The staff were very helpful we even got a call on the day we were checking out as a reminder.

Positives: Good Parking, hotel was fairly easy to find and close to city. Staff were for the most part helpful when called up on. Negatives: Facilities are dated, more evident in the room. Air con was very noisy and when switched off it kept making a knocking sound all night. Bathroom has water damage on the ceiling and might also be mould, broken tiles, shower wouldn't stay in place, water temperature kept changing from hot to cold to very hot, only one person working to cover both bar and restaurant, she did her best but needed help and food was too expensive for service and choices offered. A group of guest were so noisy we had to leave the restaurant to eat in the bar waiting area, they then came out to that area being just as noisy but staff seemed to not want to or afraid to tell them to be more respectful. The hotel has a lot of potential but needs work.
