Hidden gem. Very clean and staff very pleasant. Would recommend and would stay again. Only 2mins from Watford Junction and the bus for the Harry Potter Tour at Leavesden Studios. Stayed with family from Friday to Sunday, great buffet breakfast and plenty of it. I found it great value for 2 adults and 2 children and it is well worth your consideration.

Good standard hotel. Room is reasonable size and well furnished. Small restaurant with limited menu but good food. Well positioned for town and railway but some noise from trains depending on room.

Had an awful experience at this hotel. Arrived after a very long journey at 10pm, was told to pay straight away (which I thought was unusually desperate)., got the room which stunk of "red bull" and the kettle and TV did not work! To make matters worse the manager said he refused to refund me or give me a discount and said "why did you come to this room? It wasn't for tea or tv?". Meanwhile drunk revellers could be heard banging doors on the floor below. I was fortunate to speak to a very warm caring staff at nearby Hilton and checked into there instead (not before claiming back a refund in full)!

The service was nice and quick. Included in the room was a handy. Which is a mobile you allowed to use for the duration of the stay. I had a brief look over it and can see how it would be useful. The breakfast in the morning was a self service type which I found okay. Would of preferred a slightly wider choice. The staff were very helpful when we needed abit of help with the WiFi password. The rooms were nice and clean and were cleaned daily which was nice. The shower was nice as warm for the whole time I was using it and had variable pressure and temperature.

The staff are very friendly and the room is in great condition. The added breakfast is amazing as you have an excellent choice of menu. Will definitely recommend
