I would highly recommend Croxley House. My Grandmother is extremely well cared for. She is always happy and content whenever my family and I visit. We are extremely happy with the standard of care that all staff provide. They are courteous and professional. Medical help has always been sought promptly when required.
People should not believe all they read in the Press. Our family knows from direct experience of both my grandparents and regular visiting that it is an excellent home, where all the staff are very caring and highly professional. Because of the Press reports, they have had to suffer a storm of unpleasant messages and reviews from people who have never stepped inside the place and know nothing about it. The report of abuse by the relatives of one resident was fully investigated and the home and its staff absolved of any wrongdoing.
No stars! I’m currently going through CQC and Adult safeguarding after my mum was badly neglected which ended into a hospital admission to A&E, due to choking on a big lump of meat, which was found stuck in her lungs! Bear in mind my mum had advanced dementia and couldn’t eat properly, so was informed by family to give soft mushy food and to be supervised while eating, due to my mum unaware of her cramming food into her mouth, a week later my mum died of aspiration, which lead to pneumonia all due to Croxley Green Care Home. My mums toenails were so badly overgrown like ivory tusks digging into her poor toes through neglect, although we pay for a chiropodist through the care home. No one should put there loved ones into this home, and if you can, get them out. This place needs to be shut down!
If I could they would recieve no stars from me. I've read reports about abuse to residents! I am a carer for an amazing company our clients are treated exactly how they should be with love and care! The CQC report is enough for me that is shocking and you should be shut down!

I visited the house with the view to place my uncle there. The staff were warm and friendly and the manager was excellent and professional.
The home offer good facilities and a homely environment for older people
