Ample car parking. Well lit and feels safe. Looks good from the outside and lobby area nice. Took 15 minutes to check us in. No real assistance of help with luggage. Lift fine but corridors dated. Room also showing it’s age: Chair and desk showing lots of sign of wear, sofa bed really squeaky, mould around the sealant of the taps and chips in the bath. Kids eat free so we ordered something for them but then were charged a fee of £5.00 to bring up food to the room (which was only tomato soap and beans on toast) which took over 45 minutes. The sleep itself was okay and the shower was acceptable. Breakfast was by far the highlight of the stay apart from the fact that they didn’t have a high chair for my 19 month old! What kind of 4* hotel doesn’t do high chairs?! Check out was painless enough and offer was made to help with the luggage from the hotel to the car. Upon exit, the code they displayed for exiting didn’t work and no one answered the buzzer at the exit so we had to go back into the hotel! Overall, definitely not the most pleasant experience...for the Hilton, I was disappointed.

Room was lovely and clean. Plenty of space. Bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of towels and was lovely and clean. Staff are polite and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and warm, catering staff helpful and friendly. I have coeliac disease and nothing was to much trouble for them.

If you want peace and quiet, do not come here. There are too many late night events going on (weddings etc.) which means a lot of crazy children and drunk adults running around the rooms and corridors all through the night. Otherwise a nice and clean hotel with a good quality breakfast. Just not very “Hiltony”.

We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Watford. Reviews are mixed and on arrival we could tell this was an older hotel that had been partially modernised. Staff seemed extremely eager to help and were very professional, great to see on new years day! Our room seemed recently renovated and was very comfortable. Breakfast selection seemed wide and of decent quality. We did find the the sound proofing into the corridor could be improved, the door seemed very thin. Fortunately the hotel was quiet so we weren't disturbed by this at night.

Had a great four night stay. The staff were lovely, the rooms were so clean and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
