Would highly recommend this hotel, it is in a great location close to the city centre and opposite a train station. We booked 2 rooms for a 4 night stay between Christmas and New Year and couldn't have been happier. It was our first trip to Belfast and the staff where extremely helpful and welcoming. Our flight meant that we arrived at the hotel very early in the morning but we was allowed to check in straight away which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is clean and comfortable, there is free WiFi throughout the hotel which works well. The breakfast is also very good with lots of choice.

The hotel is older as would be expected, but reasonably updated. The front desk staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant was helpful with choosing food that met special dietary needs. It's relatively close to walk to everything in downtown Belfast. We took the bus from Dublin and it's only a short block away, very convenient.

The elevator is tiny. Despite being a non smoking hotel it smelled heavily of smoke. The walls are relatively thin and you can hear all of your neighbors closing their doors. If you're a light sleeper I recommend ear plugs.

Holiday Inn, where business people live during there working week away. Rooms are serviceable and for the most part it's a good location as it's maybe a 10/15 min walk to most of Belfast's center. I would recommend an alternative during the 12 of July week as there is a bonfire right beside it every year. It's right next to Sandyrow but don't let the name fool you, it's not a beach front.

Get hotel with parking, you have to pay but very reasonable. The City is only a short taxi drive away. Hotel has self service check in. Room very comfortable with everything you need. Rates very reasonable.

Friendly staff, clean and modern room with great facilities. We were made to feel very welcome and the Holiday Inn played a big part in our great Belfast Weekend away.
