The service in this hotel is fantastic and the food is delicious but the rooms need to be upgraded, everything is just a bit grubby. Silicone around the bath is pretty bad as is the carpet and surfaces in the rooms. My room was cold and I couldn't turn up the heating. There is no heating in the bathroom what so ever. Great location, very central.
Had a bit of trouble with another hotel and ended up out on the streets very late into the night. No hotels in Belfast would accommodate me, but the Clayton saved the day. The manager was so helpful and I felt so welcomed. Thank you so much guys, will definitely be back :
Definitely not 4 star hotel. Two star or three max for the room that we stayed in. Booked “Deluxe” double room looked horrible for the price. I wouldn’t mind if it was maybe half the price that we paid. Bathroom looked worse than in hostel, looked old and dirty, would definitely need some revamp. Bed was quite okay - comfortable and clean no issues with it. Although we were at 7th floor we had no view from the window which was half broken by the way we could only see metal pipe passing by front of the window. There were also some weird noises in the night, could hear some rattling and squeaking which was quite annoying. Wouldn’t stay there again - at least not in the same room. Maybe if you pay more you can get better room but definitely dont book Deluxe room. Its horrible. At least breakfast was nice - there was big selection of food, everything was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed it. And there is no car park at the hotel. You need to park behind corner in multi storey car park for about 15£ a night. Hotel will give you discount for parking but still unnecessary and quite expensive
Booked the dinner bed and breakfast package for a Friday night. The receptionist checking us in was lovely, wish I had remembered her name - short blond hair, 20's, really pretty. Asked us what we were down for and we said concert. When checking out the next day she remembered and asked us how we had enjoyed the night.nDinner was gorgeous, as was breakfast, and we did not go hungry! Staff on both dinner and breakfast shifts were great.nRoom was lovely, clean and comfortable.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming, food was great. Great location everything in walking distance. Would definitely stay again
