This hotel was fantastic for our family trip to the Warner Bros. studios. They went above and beyond for our birthday celebrations, surprising us with complimentary chocolates, which was such a thoughtful touch.nnWhile the hotel doesn’t offer parking, there is a nearby car park, and the hotel can arrange a discount for you when you pay at the end of your stay.nnThe lobby had refreshing ginger-infused water, which I enjoyed several cups of—especially nice during the winter when the bugs were around.nnThe location was perfect, just a short walk to the shuttle bus to the Warner Bros. studios, only about a 10-minute straight-line walk. It was also very convenient for traveling into Central London.
This was a spontaneous visit for us, I booked on the same day and it cost me £79 for a Friday night. The room was immaculate, with a chair table which included complimentary tea and coffee which I throughly enjoyed the Saturday morning, while watching TV. When we first arrived in the room it was really cold, but the kind staff brought in us a portable heater which was much appreciated. The room had a spacious shower and sink area. The location of this hotel is amazing, as you have the town centre next door with Atria Shopping centre, with a variety of leisure,entrainment and shopping options. You also have Watford Junction station which is a ten minute walk from the hotel, with fast trains into London. Overall short and sweet stay.
Very nice hotel with a clean and comfortable restaurant, bar and rooms.nnService is always pretty good.nnIt can be noisy as it sits right on a busy junction. Ask for a quiet room if this is of concern.nnMy rooms recently have been too hot so forced to have the window open.nnNice enough place to visit and get a decent nights sleep.
Good location, nice clean rooms, front desk service was great. Close to shops, pubs, and food. We really enjoyed until housekeeping woke us up in the morning.nLoud talking and they had a door latched they kept letting slam over and over for hours.nReally great value for a hotel though, we’d consider staying again if we weren’t right next to where housekeeping kept the supplies.
Ok for a one night stop over, main issue is parking, took me an hour, and the car park they say to use at a subsidized rate was full so ended up having to pay £15. The rooms could do with better lighting and the cleaners could be more considerate. You pay for a late check for a lie in and get woken up really early due to banging doors. Hotel is clean and comfortable but would not stay there again due to parking issues and noise from cleaners.
