The Hilton London Metropole made our trip to London an enjoyable one!nnWe stayed in a renovated King room with access to the Executive lounge. The rooms are not large, which is to be expected for a hotel in the city, but they do have rooms with King beds which is not a given in London. The bathroom was small but nice. The mattress was not very comfortable—the worst thing about the room. The USB charging ports next to the bed were nice for a foreign traveller! The rooms and hallways were quiet for the duration of our stay. The lobby area is also renovated and very nice.nnThe service is what sets this hotel apart. The front desk staff was helpful. The staff in the Executive lounge was absolutely top-notch. Special shoutout to the lounge manager Gabriel, who was incredibly welcoming, kind, and hospitable. The housekeeping kept our room very clean and tidy.nnThe location of the hotel is also fantastic. The proximity to the Edgeware Rd tube stop made it effortless to get all around the city. To get to/from Heathrow, the walk to Paddington station was doable, even with a big suitcase.
Despite this being a massive hotel geared to large scale conferences we stayed here for our family trip to London and I was honestly amazed by the great staff. They were very accommodating to our requests and particularly the executive lounge manager was extremely nice and even remembered after day two our kids name. Our room was a bit dated but all was working and for London it was quite spacious. It is also very well connected to get to and from the hotel and into the city and see all the attractions.nWould definitely come here again for business and with the family.
Loved our stay at the Hilton Metropole London. Staff were amazing and breakfast was just delicious.nBig thanks to Hasan who made our breakfast time very inviting and welcoming. Outstanding service and always happy to help. Just sorry we didn't see him to thank and say Goodbye.nAlso Owen, who was so friendly and welcomed us back to the restaurant each morning.nService like this is always memorable.nThanks so much
I want to thank all the staff from the Front office manager to the rest of the staff including the breakfast one, their way of smiling, being helpful, away from the stress to work on a such big hotel, for our wonderful stay here, very big hotel close to Hyde park, few minutes by walk from Oxford Street and with a tube station in front edgware station so very easy to access. Good room size we had a room with a view and good breakfast. Absolutely suggested to go.
The location of hotel is good, especially close to Padington station & Edgeware Rd underground station. The hotel lobby and ground facilities is bigger than average hotels in London. Guest Rooms are in 2 different towers, east & west. Elevators of East tower takes long time. When I checked in I was not aware of the 2 towers & the receptionist did not explain very well which tower is my room located in. Obviously to me I waited to ride an elevator closest to the reception. I went to 11th floor and corridors too long looking for my room number & couldn’t find. So I realized I am in the wrong place. So came back down & asked.nWhen entered room, I found it Mobile room designed for elderly & wheelchair users. Though I don’t need, I like the walk in shower type. Room was relatively new and reasonable equipped. Bed was fine.nBreakfast is a very big place with variety of choices.
