Delightful property with cosy rooms. Ted and Maggie are lovely hosts and can't do enough to make your stay so wonderful.  The only down side is the low ceilings and being 5'10 I keep banging my head

I recently stayed here and had a wonderful time. The hosts were excellent, very kind and considerate and I was really pleased with the quality and quantity of the breakfast in the morning. Would highly highly recommend for a proper authentic stay in the country vs a sterile hotel room!!Rooms: 5/5

Just spent three nights at this lovely spot while visiting friends in the town. The cottage and room both full of character and and just across the road from a most charming pub.  Delicious breakfast served by friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.

This is a really great place to stay. Surprisingly quiet as it is next to a pub. Maggie and Ted are extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Comfortable room with all you need. We will definitely go back again.

I often rate places 5 stars as I am easily pleased. This place was really awesome. A bit like staying at an aunts house. The rooms are comfortable the bedding is of good quality. There is tea etc in the room and a tv. The doors are a bit low but the house is several hundred years old. Its on a quiet lane with ample parking and next door to a pub. No noise problem. The best bit was the breakfast. A sensible sized top quality full cooked without beans. All in all it was really really good. I think it was great value and if i ever need to stay around Crowborough i would definitely come back.

Lovely old cottage with great rooms. Kept nice and warm in the winter months. Free parking and next door to a good pub. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful.

Perfect getaway:  We spent two nights here in June 2021. Ted and Maggie are amazing hosts. They made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in was cosy, the full English breakfast delicious, and the pub opposite the Wheat Sheaf perfect for dinner after a long walk in the Ashdown forest.  Lots of options nearby for walks and pub lunches.  We hope to return one day.  Highly recommend :  P.S. Worth noting that the kitchen at the Wheat Sheaf pub next door closes rather early, at 8 p.m.

Lovely B&B, comfy beds, lots of choice at breakfast and very friendly and welcoming hosts.
