Quick one night stop before running the Regency 10k. Hotel is very close to centre of town and the railway station, so ideal location for me. Check in was swift and friendly. Room was perfect for what I needed. Didn't hear any excess noise from the bar or streets below and had a good nights kip. Breakfast was included in the price, which was excellent value and came quickly and hot.
The staff were really nice. The room however was slightly dirty - marks on sheets, very dusty, the mugs and cups weren’t fully clean. Was not informed of the hotel being above a pub - karaoke was EXTREMELY loud until around 1am so couldn’t sleep.Rooms: 2/5
Ok place to stay, nice staff. To be honest: Cold bathroom, dodgy kettle and some flies in the room. Electric heater works very well.
Terrible Hotel. Have been in contact with the property who refused to check for my personal missing computer. I then called multiple times and they lied and said the didn't have it. I asked another member of staff to check and they found it, but I still have not received what is rightfully mine. Im currently in contact with booking agents about taking the appropriate legal action. I never leave reviews with such anger, but this property and service has been pretty god awful. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I am very much aware of what is to be done and how to go about this. Im writing this so no one has to experience what I have. Rooms: Filthy, and unkept.
For the price on a Saturday night I thought it was fine. The room looked like it had been recently decorated and new carpets were laid so was clean and tidy. Beds were fine. Breakfast was included when I thought it wasn't when I booked so that was a bonus. Food was good. Wouldn't recommend if you were staying with young children as the bar is open relatively late and is quite loud. But we stayed at the bar until closing time so by the time we went to bed the music had stopped. We parked over the road in the long stay car park. £3 for the night.
Low-cost hotel, near the centre of Royal Lemington Spa. Unfortunately you get what you pay for in terms of room. However, breakfast is included, quite nice, and can be upgraded for cheap. The pub downstairs is quite nice as well, with a decent selection of drinks, so it does make a good stop at the end of the day before going back to your room.
Cheap and cheerful, tired and worn out in places, dirty carpets, broken furniture although bed and bathroom clean. No cooked breakfast and a mishmash of merger alternatives. Good but very noisy location, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as stairs are steep and numerous.Rooms: 3/5
This is a budget hotel, so obviously don’t expect 5 star facilities. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable, shower cubicle door didn’t fully close, but the shower worked ok. Bathroom generally clean, shaving light over mirror didn’t work. For some reason the TV had no BBC or ITV channel, the rooms are above a bar, so expect noise at night. The carpets could do with replacing. We booked for one night, which is ok, would probably choose somewhere else for a longer stay
For £60 a night for two people on a Friday night it was what you would expect a room to be like. The room had kettle and drinks for customers to make , its clean and staff are lovely in the pub and very happy to help when asked . A lot of noises at the night but that's expected as it above a pub. For what you pay for its good!Rooms: 3/5
Bed and towels clean! Breakfast good. Some staff ok and one very rude! Carpets are awful! Need a clean! Shower did not stay up! noisy at night but we knew that! Budget hotel for £50 what could we expect?!
