A very comfortable stay at this branch of Travelodge. It's a bit of a juxtaposition - very fancy, old fashioned and regal style architecture, but with all the Travelodge fixtures, fittings and decorations. The large room and comfy bed were pleasant to sleep in, and the TV allowed me to plug in my laptop to watch movies. It was a shame the bathroom only had a shower (i.e. no bath), and my room positioned at the front of the hotel meant I was exposed to quite a bit of noise from the road - I suspect the building is listed which is why modern double glazing isn't installed. The breakfast box is a bit of a rip off for £5.25, I wouldn't pay half as much for what you get in it. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay in a lovely building, marred slightly by traffic noise and the pants breakfast box.

As a 2 star hotel, it's obviously not full of luxuries. However, our double room was very big and clean, the bed was comfortable, we had tea and coffee making facilities and basic supplies in the en suite. The hotel is in the centre of L Spa (close to  all bars and restaurants) and the nearest public car park is £4.50 for up to 24 hours. For £40 a night I am particularly impressed - if you need a bed for a night don't hesitate to book.

Typical Travelodge offer in a period building, nice rooms. Good location in the center of Leamington close to shopping bars and restaurants. No parking at the hotel, free parking is possible nearby if you're willing to walk for a few minutes.
