Avoid using this taxi company. After returning home from a lovely, relaxing holiday I paid £36 for a short journey from Leeds/Bradford Airport to my home. 2 weeks ago I used a different taxi company on my way to the airport which cost me only £13.50. Why would the same journey cost almost 3 times as much? On top of this the driver was rude and unprofessional. I arrived home shocked and upset and vow never to use them again.
I arranged to go from the Headingly Cricket Ground to go to Leeds station. There were 5 of us and Arrow provided an 8 seater with a super driver who kept in touch with great info as we were running a little late. Great local knowledge got us to tge station in time for our train. Arrow will definitely be my go to cab firm in Leeds.
Good luck if they are the contracted company for your kids school run!! Unless you get a regular driver you don’t ever stand a chance of getting your kid to school or picked up on time. Drivers are wonderful but the operators and management of the account are horrific to deal with. No care or compassion or understanding of how travelling with a SEN child requires consistency and being ON TIME in adherence to their own CONTRACT or SLA. My son will be heading into his final year of school in September i am hoping and praying that Arrows contract is not renewed over the summer
I've used Arrow for years but tonight I deleted the app. I tried to get a taxi with them last at new year and couldn't. Tried tonight and the app just kept saying confirming your booking and did nothing. I ordered an Uber and by the time it had turned up and taken my in laws back to their hotel, Arrow rung me to say they were outside. They used to be amazing but I'm really not sure what's happened to them.
prebooked a taxi the morning before , over 24 hours in advance. When the time came to be picked up, there was no sign of the taxi. When you call you get put through to an automated system which is no use at all. The taxi eventually showed up 45 mins late which was absolutely no use to me at all, as i had already got an uber to my location to deliver something and back in the time it took them to arrive. If you have somewhere important to be avoid this company.
They are my local taxi firm and I've used them for years. But, the last 3 times they have cancelled my booking, once without informing me. Also booked for an airport run. £5.60 to get there and £19.00 to get back. Not sure how that works. Things have seriously gone wrong
Did not share the correct details of my booking with the driver. Now you send me a booking confirmation with the correct details after the taxi ride, not before. Disorganised and £30 more expensive than Uber. Would not use again and as a business booking I will be feeding that back to my company who forced me to use Arrow
Used them once from LBA to Harrogate. Staff at the office couldn't get computer to work properly, no internet apparently. Then it took a while for the taxi to arrive. Cost a ridiculous £40! Never again. Uber is quicker, more efficient and costs less than half Arrow's price. I have no idea why LBA let them have the monopoly on taxis at the airport...
Arrow have the monopoly for Leeds Bradford Airport pickups. On arrival quiet weekday afternoon I asked for a taxi to get home, only to be told there was a >90 minute wait. Don't get the contract if you cannot fulfil it!
Prebooked a taxi the night before from city to airport. Arrived on time. Driver would only accept cash, so had to stop 3 times,as first two atms not working. Quite a bit of hassle having to do this, they should accept cards, it's the norm now. Travel time extended due to having to stop. Driver was OK. Won't use again due to the fact that only cash is accepted.
