We stopped for dessert and coffee. I think the hype is better than the food, frankly. The tea was over-steeped and the dessert we had wasn’t to our liking. For ambience, this is a great place to people watch in Chiswick, but I think the food is secondary.

Very alert and mindful service there, going the extra mile every time, probably the best compared to all other houses in London. And the ice creams and deserts - wow!!
We came for a bottle of wine and sat outside, the wine was delicious and the waiter was friendly and attentive. Would like to come back and try the food.
Try the Expresso Martini which is a treat after tucking into a steak. Good seating with excellent food choice. Friendly staff and parking after 7:00 pm is free which is also a bonus on the high road.
The service was a little slower than I expected, but our waiter was a really nice bloke.
