The butchers here are excellent. The water buffalo burgers are fantastic with virtually no shrinkage. There is also a great choice of other meats. I like to pick up some great local jams, honeys, and Chutney and a visit to the cafe on the way in or out is always good. There are other shops such as cards and crafts etc. But I go for the burgers 😁

A wonderful place to visit with everyone involved very polite & helpful. I made a bee-line to the musical instruments & met a very pleasant & very informative gentleman, Ant Hawkes who has lit my interest in not leaving late to learn to play a string instrument. I hope to return soon & purchase a super deal banjo. Other stalls for everyone's interest & as for the butcher's shop that just oozes quality. I will definately return for some meat choice. Thouroughly enjoyed this day out, looking forward to going back.

Came to Heskin yesterday for the first time and what a gem of a place it Is! Great range of outlets varying from traditional through to quirky....something for everyone! The cafe was well run, friendly and with a good selection of reasonably priced food. All in all we had a lovely time and will definitely return!

Good place for a weekend stroll around when nothing better to do. You can also get good food in the Two Birds tea room or something quick and simple in the cafe... Fabulous meats from th butchers and prices are good for the quality you get

Brilliant place. So many different shops to look at from fashion Freckle and other cloth places, jewellery, the heaing path (aromatherapy foot massages, gifts etc) a butchers, green grocers, deli, bags, shoes, places to eat, the list goes on. The people who work there are so friendly. Its on facebook too so look it up.for opening times and what else is there. Its a great day out.
