I am sorry but I share Karenlesley Murray's pain. We should no doubt meet up and set up a victim support group. I went in and bought a nice pair of jeans, I was gonna treat myself to Levis jeans, however i could not see the price on the jeans, maybe it was just me being blind. Once i got home, i looked at the jeans I had purchased and realised they still have the security tag on. So annoyingly, i had to go back into town and go back into the shop for them to take the security tag off. I explained to the guy at the till that I wanted the security tag removed and i had the paper receipt to prove that I had actually paid for it. Plus I had an email receipt to show if needed. He looked at the receipt repeatedly, even when he was about to hand over the cash, making me feel like i had stolen the jeans. Now bless the worker, he does not know he was dealing with someone who gets spooked by a kittens shadow and would never steal for fear of going to prison. However, I did not like being treated with such suspicion, plus no apology for the inconvenience caused to me for having to come back to the shop.

It's an ok store with quite a few well known brands there to suit all ages ..like a typical debenhams really...but it's not very exciting to shop there but I can't put my finger on why .i sometimes go round and round and cant find anything I like.There is a quite large selection of costume jewellery and there are decent watches and other jewellery bits . There is now a cafe as you enter which is not just any ordinary cafe but Valeries Patisserie!there's still the old large cafe on first floor .

Awww I love Debenhams,the Smells are gorgeous,the Products are wonderful and the Restaurant is fannnnntastic,I've had a glorious tomato and basil soup which was wonderful considering it was a cold day,it came with a delicious roll and croutons.Ham and Cheddar Panini was another delight I savoured off the menu.For drinks it was a large cappuccino with a delightful chocolate heart that was delightful.

Good department store with a wide range of goods. Great facilities with escalators and lifts. Well presented cafe selling a small range of drinks and snacks

I went into this store wanting some advice on bare minerals. Long story short, the woman who served me looked annoyed and looked like she just wanted me to leave. She couldn’t be bothered answering my questions about the makeup properly..She was plain ignorant and rude and then when I walked away after I had purchased a product, she went to her colleagues who weren’t at their own counters, just all sat down in a circle and blatantly shook her head and looked into my direction and the others did too, making it obvious they were talking about me. I’m sure Debenhams isn’t supposed to make you feel that small. I will be ringing up making a complaint. This is very unprofessional.
