Came for Christmas dinner following recommendations from friends/family who've tasted from the usual food menu. The visit exceeded all our expectations. They accommodated all of our requests (and we had a few) and the staff were very friendly. The food itself was amazing. My son said it was the best tomato soup he's ever had, our Christmas pudding conseaur expressed his satisfaction by clearing his plate and the homemade cheesecake was stunning. The roast itself was of a generous size, variety and cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for making our Christmas lunch so enjoyable.

A pub on the edge of town thats really trying to get the punters in.They show live sport and has a newly installed pool table. The new landlord was really helpful and the food good. All round nice place to visit.

Had the classic burger and a side of onion rings. The burgers were meant to come in a brioche bun but it came in a plane white bap. The onion rings were from a packet. And the chips were cold we did complain about the chips and we got another plate of chips. Staff were friendly and the building is nice but the quality of the food let's the place down. Also the ladies toilets needs more toilet paper.

You get what you pay for food wise so no complaints. However filthy sticky menus and ill-informed staff are off putting.
