Excellent site ! Great location, farm shop / Sainsbury’s / country pub / lovely dog walks on the doorstep clean loos & showers, friendly wardens too. We had every intention of going into Harrogate but didn’t bother as so beautiful peaceful & quite here. Will definitely return soon. Many thanks
This caravan park is well located to gain access to Harrogate. When you arrive, you are greeted by the warden who is very helpful and friendly. The pitches are well kept and the area in general is very quiet. The toilet facilities are in good condition. The shower cubicles are small with no shower curtain so sandals/crocs are a necessity as everything gets wet. It’s well priced and offers good value. There is a train station within walking distance if you require access further afield. There is also a great farm shop and sainsburys next door.
Attentive site managers, most willing to help. The welcome we received on arrival at the site was warm, informative and most welcoming. The site was really clean and well maintained.nLocation is good. Good walks from the site, popular with dog walkers.nThere is a large supermarket within easy walking distance and a popular cafe/ restaurant adjacent to the site which has a good range of fresh food products in the local producers food hall.nThis site has good public transport links which can be accessed on foot from the site.nBuses into Harrogate travel along Wetherby Road and trains are available from Hornbeam Park Rail Station.
Lovely clean site very friendly wardens had a fantastic stay with our touring caravan, first time here and would definitely recommend and return again soon. Good base for getting around, Fodders shop well worth a visit , bus stop only a short walk from site.
What can I say we always stay here the site is perfect location and very clean and presented - small site - after staying we have aways left a lovely review! this time the wardons massively let the site down! we arrived and was told off for being on the grass? loads cars on the grass and tent pitches so very weirdnThere was a discussion to whethere we would fit on the pitch we booked which I was told over the phone we would - in the end I was told anyway welcome to the site now? would have like that in the beginning - felt very watched by wardens and at 10pm were greeted with a face against our awning reminding us to keep it down - 4 of us talking? we said we werent making a noise and was told no we know that but a reminder to keep it down - felt a little schooled? especially when woken by other campers early hours in the morning!nsuch a shame as last time the wardens could not have been more helpful! - advice to wardens lighten up and be more helpful more than being so strict and in peoples faces! we are on holiday not work or school!
