Kilnsey Park

About

Kilnsey Park Estate is a family visitor attraction in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Spend a day with us exploring and having fun – you can catch a fish, ride ponies, watch our red squirrels play and then enjoy a meal in our cosy café!

Story

Kilnsey Park Estate offers activities for all the family including fun fishing, friendly farm animals, pony trekking, an adventure playground and a nature trail with butterfly garden and rare orchids. We also offer high quality angling in two spring fed lakes for those wanting to catch a fish in this stunning location. Seasonal events and treasure trails mean that there’s always something going on.

The Kilnsey Estate café is open every day for a full menu of local Dales dishes, light snacks and teas. You can also take home a taste of the Dales: the Kilnsey Estate shop has a selection of local produce including our award-winning smoked trout, patés and pies.

We pride ourselves on being one of the country’s greenest visitor attractions. You can learn about how we generate our own electricity and heat our own buildings using nature. We welcome schools, groups and birthday parties.

Great to take the kids out for the day. Good to see the animals and the small nature walk is really nice. Can buy a year pass which is good. Highly recommended.

Cafe is huge, and clean. Prices are reasonably priced. My slab of carrot cake was huge for it's price of £2.00. The staff are polite and food and drinks are brought to your table. I would definitely be stopping by the next time I pass through. I would recommend to anybody.

Looked god, but we called with friends at 3:45 pm and were told in no uncertain terms that the cafe closed at 4:00. Must be doing well to turn away business!
