We arrived at this site in the sunshine, over the two weeks we were there it snowed, hailed or rained every day! But we were still happy bunnies. The greeting by the staff was amazingly friendly and we felt at ease immediately. The views from the site are beautiful and the walks directly from the site go on for miles. Dogs will not get bored. There’s a shop just a short walk from the site with absolutely everything you could need. We didn’t visit the pub and spa just a stones throw from the site but it looked very nice. It was very peaceful and we often saw the odd deer or two wander through as we explored the area. Definitely one of our favourites so far.
Lovely campsite, toilets and showers are kept very clean and although only one block there are plenty even when the campsite is full! So many lovely walks from the campsite too and 2 pubs are very close by. There is a dog walk on the site too. We loved it here. Dog-friendliness: Dog walk on site too
Great site which is clean and well maintained. Loo block has plenty of showers and toilets which were clean and tidy. Very peaceful site when we went. Decent looking playground for young kids to play on
Beautiful open site, with views of hills from top of the site. Well maintained pitches and spotless toilets, one small comment….the showers were powerful but fine jets sprayed everything around but missed the person standing there! Really friendly hardworking wardens doing a great job of keeping everything spotless! The Gamekeeper Inn just off the site was a gem. Plenty to do & see in the area. Will definitely return.
Wow what a place... Stunning dog walks with a range of different walks available... All the facilities were exceptionally clean and warm... This was my first visit to any site and nothing was too much trouble from helping me to fill my water to technical advice with the internet... If you want peace tranquility and a beautiful place to walk your dogs this is the place to be. Thank you to the very kind members of staff who made me feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely site same old Caravan & Motorhome standard lots to see and do in the area photos of Malham Dale.Malham visitor centre lovely people
A really great surprise! This campsite is in a fantastic position for walking to local shops and buisness. Easy walk to Grassington with hundreds of local walks in and around the area. It’s a really busy and popular site but amazing well managed clean and tidy with very polite team. Lots of wildlife in and around the site from Rabbits to Dear. Crayfish in the rivers. Threshfield Quarry Carpark is now closed but all the walking paths are still open. Very quiet site as well ! Surprisingly so ! For the amount of people it’s super quiet and facility’s are also well looked after by campers and the site team.
This caravan site provides many walks from the door, is quiet and has a bus stop outside with routes to many interesting places such as Skipton, Kettlewell and many more. The pitches are mainly hardstanding plus there is a good dog walk. Site and shower block excellent and kept in tip top condition by the site managers. Adjacent to the site is a restaurant and bar plus leisure centre these features are in keeping with the surrounding area.
Lovely site, appalling aggressive welcome from the most jumped up jobs worth I've ever met! We arrived early, at about 12.30pm. We waited in the layby as instructed to do so by a sign. At 12.57 we made our way to the arrivals bay in front of reception. Well this was clearly a big mistake. I was challenged in a very agressive manner in front of my 2 young boys, as to why we had broken the rules. Now if this obviously very important sign had stated that a member of staff will greet you here then this would have all been avoided. Although when we tried to discuss our upset with Ian he made it clear he was quite happy that he had ruined our visit. Visit ruined and we will be taking the matter further.
Stayed on 3rd December and visited Grassington Christmas market, only 40 mins walk from site, loved it. Super dog friendly area with local pub serving meals only 10 mins walk from site. Site was almost full but lovely and peaceful, will be back .
