Good price for a carvery. 4 different meats, about 10 different veggies (you could go back for more veg). Very busy which is a good sign of the food being good. Tasty meal that filled the plate and then my stomach! Tables were a decent size too which meant no vying for elbow space with your friends or family! Worth a visit, but book a table about what week in advance (11:45am or 1:30pm sittings for Sunday lunch).

I absolutely love it here. Best carvery around and the puddings (if you have room) are to die for. If you go on a weekend evening or are in a large group it may be best to call ahead and book but honestly you won't regret it. I can't fault this place. Also in terms of vegetarian carvery they do a nut roast which my friend says is delicious.

If you enjoy a good carvery, this is the place to go. A really good variety of food and very generous with the meat, unlike a lot of carvery iv had. All the food is freshly cooked and not out of a freezer. It can be very busy here, so my advice is to book a table. All the staff are very friendly and well coming and don't make you feel rushed to free a table. There is a good dessert menu if you still have room for one. Also there is a large car park and a covered area outside for smoking

Nice pub, clean and tidy. Service was fair. Food was okay. I had the oddest Burrito known to mankind. No rice in it? Just veg? To which made the Tortilla green and mushy. No salsa or guacamole?

A great old fashioned pub with friendly staff, good food at reasonable prices, also a large selection of ales and wines to suit all tastes. A good place to stay, but booking is best as there are limited rooms available. Great for meetings, as large room for about 100 people available. Party food also available for weddings funerals ECT.
