We were walk-ins, not having booked. The manager said she had left a couple of tables for last minute diners so, could accommodate us. Being vegetarian was not a problem as they had several options on the menu and we had the roasted mushroom and vegetable pie. Delicious. Friendly staff and nice traditional pub atmosphere. Recommended.
Well this place is just fantastic I went here on Sunday and it was absolutely amazing I had a 8oz Sirloin steak cooked medium and it was delicious it was cooked perfectly it was very juicy and flavorful I would definitely recommend dinning here.
Nice pub with ok pub food. Showed the world cup which was good. Barman was a little unfriendly.
Dropped in for food and a pint or two. The food was really great! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend booking a table as can get busy serving food like this..
It's a lovely pub, but soft drinks like diet coke or regular coke never cold enough, they are more likely on the room temperature side. The pub has a great covered outside sitting area.
I am sat in the Swan fully satisfied. We had the Chilli beef with nachos/salad and Crab and prawn salad. Both excellent. Cheerful, brisk and attentive service on a busy Monday night. Old pub character and no horrible telly. Just the ticket.
Great food in the garden, excellent choice of food, including plenty of food for vegetarians. Would highly recommend this place for meals, we had 4 different meals and all were excellent.
Dog friendly in the bar, lovely atmosphere and amazing food and great value for money. What's not to like.
Best pub in town!! Great hidden gem just a walk away from the main high street. Great value beers and wines available. Extensive outside seating area when the weather permits!! Oh and the inside seating is quite nice and cosy aswell. Food is always top notch and never had a bad meal here, and I am am fussy! Friendly and helpful staff make this my no1 place to go when in town!!
Friendly welcoming staff and great, proper pub food.
