Had to send my meal back. First time I have ever had to do that. The lasagne was full of oil, and the two mouthfuls I eat tasted of it. Was not offered anything else. My mum had a coffee and asked for no froth, and extra hot. After being told coffee becomes bitter if too hot the coffee arrived warm and full of froth and was certainly not the best in Sidmouth as claimed by our waiter.
Lovely cream tea. Good coffee. Rest of menu looks really good but was too full to try anything else.
Went for lunch here with a small baby and family - staff were very inviting and the food was superb! Will go again when we're next in town! :
