Really enjoyed the Christmas Dinner with my colleagues. The nutroast was delicious, and when my Christmas pudding smelt like being burnt, the waitress got me another one kindly and with some extra brandy butter. Beautifully decorated for Christmas time - there must be thousands of lights in the pub!
Very nice staff and really good job of covid proofing the place. Enough but not too far. Food was OK. Nothing wrong with it but I have had better. All in all good value and nice friendly place.
Lovely lunch celebrating a birthday. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They had had a problem with their freezer breaking down, so some things on the menu weren't available, but there was still enough to choose from. Really enjoyable afternoon.
We had an excellent Sunday roast wirh friends in the garden marquee Covid restrictions. The marquee was decorated to make it v Xmassy. The staff were super efficient and v attentive/helpful. We're definitely going back to enjoy another roast soon! Well done you guys - difficult times.
Wow What a little Gem of a place! really lovely attentive staff and landlord - the winter Garden is fabulous and warm!.. We had such a good evening, the food was great - lovely english food everything from grills to bangers and gawjus mash - prices are fab too!
Doing a great job over covid! Good selection of beers and really friendly staff, it's worth a visit as its in a great location. I know it's not their area but it would be nice for the grass section where people are drinking during this time to be cleaned up as lots of beer bottle tops and cigarette butts. Other than that, great place.
1st time here staff and landlady very welcoming, lovely open fire,seemed well organised with covid. food was fantastic would definitely be back. Thankyou all
