We visited in early July for breakfast. The food was hot and the pub clean. The man who served us kindly answered all my questions about the building, scaffolding and stage and seemed genuinely interested in sharing his knowledge.
Nice quirky pub with a great choice of food and alcohol at fantastic prices, typical Wetherspoons. I would highly recommend a visit
Great place. Literally in an old playhouse. Still has most of the theatre decor. Feels really homely and as its a wetherspoons its nice and cheap!
Very nice although work is being done it doesn't affect food and drink staff very pleasant
It's a Wetherspoons, the food is good value and the staff were friendly. Shame there was scaffold up for some work that is being blocking off the view of some of the interior architecture we were hoping to see. Will have to go back when the work is finished.
Normally the food has always been ok. But today we both had breakfast and it was stone cold. Not very nice at all. I'd give it 1 out of 10. I know they are doing their best but unacceptable to have cold food.
Definitely I had good food, but place is a bit too dark, tables are small, we couldn't fit with one plate each I came with 3 others
