Been going to the shoulder of mutton for the past year now, me and my partner love the food. It's a little location to sit on a sunny day and have a home made milkshake or iced coffee, or you need a break dog walking as they are dog friendly. Sophie makes amazing cakes and the food is delicious. We have also attended many events in the barn attached to the cafe. Our year wedding anniversary party due to covid delaying things and our grandparents birthday!
Being meaning to leave a review service was amazing just like food. Staff was very friendly and nothing was to much of a trouble food was nice a not we sat outside and we decided to take our puppy for a walk along the river and dogs are very welcome with a treat for them too. Thank you for a lovely experience we will return.
We went for the quiz night. We had a great evening, the food was yummy, the dessert was fab and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely go back for lunch in the garden. Kid-friendliness: Small play area out the back. Lovely big garden. Parking: Good sized carpark at the establishment.
Lovely tearoom by the river. Great for taking your dog for a walk and then stopping for a bite to eat. Great little antiques room adjacent to the tearoom if you want a browse. Food is awesome. My panini was the best I've had and the triple cooked chips to die for!! The sunday roast is really good too and really reasonable for the price. Staff are really lovely too. You won't be disappointed. Oh and the kinder bueno cookies are a must
10 of us came for breakfast to celebrate sons birthday. Very welcoming & friendly. Food hot & tasty & all served together, no-one was left waiting. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you to all staff, a great team.
Lovely place and food. Friendly service too. We sat outside in 'a pod' on a cold day. Suggestion - maybe have cushions and knee rugs for clients to make it cosier?
Called in for a breakfast before heading home to Kent, right on the dot of opening. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the welcome was very warm. The breakfasts were large and delicious, decent sausages and black pudding, tasty smoked bacon and excellent poached eggs, and all freshly cooked. Chef brought out a cooled sausage for our cockerpoo, which was a really nice touch. Looking at the cakes and apple pie I felt sorry we were not going to have chance to savour the afternoon teas. So glad we callwd in here I'm sure the location will be stunning in the summer when the river will be beautiful.
Busy afternoon with lots of bookings. Quite a varied menu and a cosy Tea Room. Staff could have been better. There was plenty of them but they could have cleared tables of used plates a lot quicker and taken orders a lot quicker. Nice to see a Tearoom with an Antique Shop. There is a large car park here and a lovely garden.
Always enjoy a nice coffee and cake but today gorgeous lunch. Wonderfully located for a nice walk. Love peeking at all the antiquesFood: 5/5
