Was a great place to play! Interesting crowd I love that about places really good sound, really good staff also! Just a shame that there was not much stock and the coke tasted like shrimp water but as a bartender myself I do understand that sometimes post mix is a untamed mistress of beverages at times.
10/10. The recent renovation has maintained the old charm and atmosphere of the bull we know and love while still providing a modern twist of a new look and outstandingly good tasting food. Would recommend then Smoky BBQ wings a hundred times over

if you want to listen to rock music in Colchester come here. Mura band was the best performance I saw recently in The Bull.

Nice food, outside sitting area, close to town centre without being in the centre. Prices ok and good choice of drinks.
Good atmosphere. Reasonable bouncers
Food is good the cheffs home made BBQ sauce is amazing experience
