Nothing wrong with this place at all. Good on all cases. Room was clean and warm. Lots of noise from the chihuahua in next doors back garden. That was extremely annoying. Pub is loud, but the dog was worse. Good food, when they do it, reasonably priced. No problems at all. Thanks Maxine.
Popped in for a quick pint and chat with friend. Landlady very welcoming. They have spent time and effort to redecorate and it had a nice feel to it. Think its early days but the local community should embrace the effort to revitalise a local historic gem.
Lovely owner and rooms were lovely
Haven't been to the leather bottle for a few years. Was always a good pub to visit, however now under new management it's a great pub! Fully refurbished, very friendly staff & management and all round a great atmosphere to bring the family. We'll be back especially when the full menu is up and running next week.
Under new management. Great Sunday roast. One of the best breakfast in town.
Such a lovely run family business.. Would highly recommend it.. All food is to die for and the roast is another level.. 100% will be going back..
The place is lovely, and the host Maxine is wonderful, I have rented a room, and Maxine is more than a manager, she is a truly friendly, kind and nice lady and the place is decent and safe for families, pets, youth and elders too:.
