I put a deposit on a 996 C4S here quite a few years ago and then had change in career circumstances. The staff were brilliant and gave me back my non-refundable deposit. I also sold them my Boxster S for good money. I will be buying another 911 and I will definitely try and get this through Harbour Cars.

I purchased a beautiful 981 Boxster S from Harbour Cars last week. I dealt with Chris, and the service from start to finish was first class. They did everything they promised and the car was handed over in pristine condition, serviced, warrantied and ready to go. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will certainly be back.

I’ve had various experiences of ‘service’ - from main dealers and a range of independents when buying cars – but Harbour Cars are by far the best I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with to date.
 
Having just bought a car with Gary’s help, if you are at all interested in the type of vehicles they stock, I’d recommend you contact them for a chat or by email - better still pop in to their showroom to see for yourself. 
 
Gary is a good listener.  Starting from my initial phone call, he didn’t judge me on my current car or my initial ‘must haves’ for the new one - but took time to listen and also talked me through some ownership issues.  Using his knowledge and experience of the marque - the various models, options and combinations available - Gary helped me re-think my original wish-list for a 911 into one that would actually deliver what I really wanted.
 
Even better, Gary then sourced the ideal car - and made sure it was professionally prepared to their own good-as-new standards – properly inspected, fully serviced, detailed, documented and warrantied. 
 
The comprehensive Harbour Cars package was fundamental to me - as finally owning a 911 is a lifetime’s dream – trusting the people you buy it from to back up that initial sale with continued good service is vital.   
 
If you’re lucky enough to be looking on the Harbour Cars website, contemplating the car of your dreams – I’d recommend you make that call.  Exceptional service so far.

I had been looking for a SL350 for a couple of months when I came across Harbour Cars.  Although it was farther than I really wanted to travel I enquired about the car, and was quickly contacted by Chris who talked me through the car and its history.  As a result of this conversation, and after reading the testimonials on the website, I decided to purchase the car unseen with the proviso that I would be refunded if the car didn’t meet my expectations.  

The car was exactly as described, and had been prepared to a very high standard.  The fact that they include a very comprehensive warranty with all of their cars was a major factor in my decision to purchase from them.  Chris was a great guy to deal with, and carefully showed me around the car explaining the various functions.

Having left the showroom we had only travelled a few miles when an alarm appeared on the dash.  I contacted Chris who immediately set off to help.  It turned out to be a very minor problem, and we were soon on our way.  

I would recommend Harbour Cars to any prospective purchaser, and I fully intend to purchase my next car from them.

I have never written a review before and I am , on average , in and out of 2x cars per year. I feel compelled to write this review (albeit a few weeks have passed since I took delivery of my new car) because today unfortunately so many people get the basics of customer service very wrong. The irony is that what gives most pleasure to a customer are the simple things which don't cost anything. Gary has been an absolute Gem from the beginning to the end and since my deal was a slightly unusual part x it took some time and patience but never at one point was there any pressure. Harbour cars have gained a new customer for the future and look forward to my next 911 already ...(997.2 GT3 maybe? ;-)
